Interesting how Davidians think about other Davidian/Shepherd's Rod groups and S.D.A.s.

TRUST-IN-MAN DAVIDIANSEXPOSING USURPERS NO. 4

[A few paragraphs down on page.]
These two sins--trust in man, and desire to exalt self--are still the leading sin elements now here on earth" (2TG28:13, 14). That is why there are Davidians who have the spirit of Lucifer in them--the "desire to exalt self" by claiming inspiration, which makes them "usurpers of Inspiration's throne" (1TG5:14:2). And there are other Davidians who also have the spirit of Lucifer in them--the desire to "trust in man" (the usurpers). But the Bible says to "hear ye the Rod" not man; therefore, it is obvious that the "trust-in-man" Davidians who follow "desire-to-exalt-self" usurpers will be led away from hearing
THE WORD OF GOD IN THE MESSAGE OF THE SHEPHERD'S ROD
"The intention of The Shepherd's Rod is to 'cry aloud, spare not,' show the sins and uncover the shame. It is to destroy the confidence of the sheep on the arm of flesh."--10 Symbolic Code, No. 7, pg. 10:2 (bold emphasis added).

Yes, to "destroy the confidence of the sheep on the arm of flesh;" to teach Davidians to "cease ye from man;" and to forever destroy their desire to "trust in man," is the whole purpose of The Shepherd's Rod message. Indeed, unless the "ROD" accomplishes this very thing in the lives of the Davidians, they will never be one of the 144,000 who "follow the Lamb {not man} whithersoever He goeth." (Rev. 14:4).

>>And remember, as former Seventh-day Adventists our confidence in the angel of Laodicea had to be destroyed, by the message of The Shepherd's Rod, before we could accept its sealing message,

which was given to us by "the Lord's Voice" (Mic. 6:9)--Jesus our Lord.
>>And as long as we continued to "follow the Lamb" through the voice of The Shepherd's Rod publications, we would have no trouble with the desire to "trust in man."

Yet, in spite of the valuable lesson we learned as Seventh-day Adventists, there are Davidians today who need to learn the lesson all over again; for with some, it is most difficult for them to give up their desire to "trust in man." They need to have their confidence destroyed in "the arm of flesh"--the Davidian "usurpers," and to have their confidence restored in the Lord Jesus, whose voice is to be heard in the message of The Shepherd's Rod.

That the purpose of The Shepherd's Rod message is to "destroy the confidence of the {Davidian} sheep on the arm of flesh" (the other Davidians), is also proven from Isaiah 40 about John the baptist.
"Comfort ye {Elijah--John the baptist}, comfort ye My people {the nation of Judah}, saith your God. {Also in the latter days} Speak ye {Elijah--V.T. Houteff} comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her {Davidian} warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the Lord's hand double for all her sins."--Isaiah 40:1,2 (bold emphasis, braces added).

"Verse 2 leaves no doubt that Inspiration is speaking to a people in the latter days,--the days in which the warfare, pilgrimage, and captivity of God's weary people are accomplished."--1 Timely Greetings, No. 36, pg. 3:3 (bold emphasis added).
"In the darkest days of her long conflict with evil, the church of God has been given revelations of the eternal purpose of Jehovah. His people have been permitted to look beyond the trials of the present to the triumphs of the future, when, the warfare having been accomplished, the redeemed will enter into possession of the promised land."--Prophets and Kings, pg. 722:1 (bold emphasis added).
"The voice of him {John the baptist and Elijah--V.T. Houteff} that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God."--Isaiah 40:3 (braces added).

>>"Many have asked who is eligible to lead in the service of the work? The answer that goes out from Mt. Carmel is that anyone not holding a Certificate of Fellowship cannot be a Davidian teacher.
He can listen only. Yet just the granting of a Certificate of Fellowship is a cheap thing. That in itself would have no significance. Who receives the Certificate?--Those who have personally studied all the message and believe It; those overcoming temptation; those complying with all the requirements; those who put their treasure where moth and thieves cannot enter; those who keep all the commandments; those who are not flesheaters, drunkards, or tobacco users; those who do not rob God of tithes and offerings.

[skipped down page to other paragraphs]
Now since the "usurpers" are NOT "complying with ALL the requirements" of the "ROD" message by claiming to be "the porter," then when the "trust-in-man" Davidians follow them, they, too, are NOT "complying with ALL the requirements," because instead of trusting in God, they are trusting in man--"consulting the spirits of Darkness." That's right, they are trusting in Satan who is the masterguide of all false prophets! What a tragedy! Just as one third of the angels trusted in Lucifer, "a man in heaven" (2TG28:13:4), so some Davidians today are trusting in the same "man in Heaven" (Lucifer) when they bow before a false "porter," and allow themselves to be inspected by him. Yes, both the porter-prophet "usurpers" and the "trust-in-man" Davidians fail to "comply with the demands of the message for today," fail the inspection of God, and fail to "pass under the Rod;" For this reason, both will die in the slaughter of Ezek. 9, except they should repent from trusting in "a man in Heaven"--Lucifer!
"The first born (firstfruits) who failed to paint the door post with the sacrificial blood in the first exodus, the type, perished. So any of the firstfruits of today who fails to comply with the demands of the {SRod} message for today, will as certainly perish at the angel's slaughter weapons (Ezek. 9:5,6)."--1 Timely Greetings, No. 31, pg. 9:0 (bold emphasis, braces added).

Since the "trust-in-man" Davidians are following "a man in Heaven" (Lucifer) through the false porter-prophets of today, then they are not following Jesus the true Shepherd, but are being led by man, the
UNAUTHORIZED SHEPHERDS HERDING HIS SHEEP
"In verse 9 Christ said, 'I am the door.' Connect verse 9 with verse 2, and you will see that those who enter in through the Lord's way are the only ones whom He acknowledges as shepherd's of His flock. The Lord, therefore, implies that there are unauthorized shepherds herding His sheep."--1 Timely Greetings, No. 2, pg. 19:6 (bold emphasis added).

At no time has Jesus spoken through the SRod and authorized any Davidian shepherd to assume upon themselves the prerogative of usurping V.T. Houteff's position as "the porter." Therefore, should any Davidian shepherd today claim to be "inspired" as "the porter," he automatically exposes himself to all Davidians that he is "inspired," not by Jesus, but by the "spirits of Darkness" (devils), and when any "unauthorized shepherd" herds a group of "trust-in-man" Davidian sheep, he does so to lead them away from hearing Jesus' Voice in The Shepherd's Rod.

[skipped down page to other paragraphs]
"Nevertheless, one's {a true Davidian} only safety will be in the teaching of Elijah (Bro. V.T. Houteff), for there will be no other voice {a usurper} oftimely Truth and authority {porter-prophet-president} to whom one may turn. Any others {besides the voice of Elijah} will lead their victims blind-folded into perdition."--General Conference Special, pg. 8:0 (bold emphasis, braces added).

Two Classes of Davidians? vvv
2)
[parts of study24]DISUNIFIED DAVIDIANS CALL FOR A SUMMIT TO UNITE
As the leaders of the world today cry for "peace" everywhere, and also for summits to unite all countries into one "New World Order;" so there are some who also cry for "peace," and for a summit to unite the Davidian groups together. The latest cry, which God's Association received near the end of 1998, was not the first cry for a Davidian summit to confederate the Davidians. There have been other Davidians over the years who should have known better than to cry for unity. They were either naive or ignorant, or they did not understand the SRod message very well. If they did understand, they would know that a call for a summit to unite the Davidians together cannot be a cry from God; because His "voice crieth unto the city" and says to "hear ye the Rod" (Mic. 6:9)! And because these different Davidian groups have rejected certain truths in the SRod message which they do not want to teach, then that is why they are disunited. And as long as they continue to reject those truths, then they will always be divided. This fact proves irrefutably that their cry for a summit to unite together, while they still reject truths in the SRod, is not a cry from God. And all true Davidians can understand why, if they ask themselves this question:
"How did these divided and disunified Davidians become separated in the first place?" It is obvious that the answer to that question would clearly expose the true identity of these unity-criers, because there are two classes of Davidians who cry for peace:
TRUE DAVIDIANS--CLASS 1: The first class are the true Davidians who were so named (1 T.G. 9:6:1) by Elijah the prophet, because they believe in and teach that God will soon set up His kingdom of peace, with David as their visible king (Hos. 3:5), while Christ sits on his throne (Isa. 9:6,7) as the invisible King. That is the reason why Elijah entitled some of his literature, "TIMELY GREETINGS--THE ONLY PEACE OF MIND." These true Davidians have always been unified; therefore, they have no need to be calling for summits to unite with class 2 Davidians.

FALSE DAVIDIANS--CLASS 2: The second class are the false Davidians who have become separated by their own self-induced conflicts, which can only create disharmony, and cause them to exist in a contentious state of disunity. They have identified themselves as rebels, usurpers, false prophets, office seekers, tithe stealers, teachers of false doctrines, and tares, etc. The purpose of their cry for peace and unity is to try to "deceive the very elect" (Mt. 24:24) into joining with their union of perpetually divided and disunified Davidians. But they are trying the impossible; because the Lord said through His servant Paul the apostle that "when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them" (1 Thess. 5:3). Except they repent, these unity-criers will die in the "sudden destruction" of the slaughter of Ezekiel 9. These false Davidians must be exposed to others who may be tempted to waste their time, labors, and money to attend their so-called Davidian summit for unity. Therefore, it is important that this question first be answered: "How did these disunified Davidians become separated in the first place?"
[skipped down page to other paragraphs]"No matter how great and how effective a revival and reformation even God Himself may launch in His church, the Scriptures {Mt. 13:24-30} make it plain that both the sinners {tares} and the saints {wheat} will be in the church until the harvest {Mt. 13:30}. No one {Davidian rebels} need brag that the members of his church {association} are all saints, that they are all of one accord {united together}. If they really are of one accord, then it must be that they are all tares, that there is no saint among them; that church for a certainty is not the church of which Christ speaks in His Word. If anything is plain in the Bible this one thing is."--1 Timely Greetings, No. 21, pg. 3:1 (bold emphasis, braces added).
Those Davidians who claim to believe the message of The Shepherd's Rod, must believe the statement above by the prophet Elijah. It means that their so-called cry for a summit, by which to unify the divided and disunified false Davidians, is in reality a cleverly disguised snare by the devil to unite the true and false Davidians together into one accord to make them become all "tares"! It is obvious, then, that such a deceptive cry for a summit to unify all the Davidians into one accord, would cause the true Davidians who cannot be deceived to cry out, "God forbid," for this reason:
[skipped down page to other paragraphs]Bro. V.T. Houteff stated emphatically in his SRod literature that he came in the spirit and power of Elijah (G.C.S. 31:32), who was the last prophet (Mal. 4:5) before Christ's second advent, as John the Baptist was the last prophet before Christ's first advent. And as John died, so he knew that he was to die. The reason why his statement that Elijah is the last prophet is irrefutable, is because Christ cannot come again if He is to send another prophet. That is, if Elijah did not say he was the last prophet, then the door of his prophetic office would still be open. And that would mean Christ is yet to send another prophet, and He would not come until after that prophet has appeared to teach his truth and do his work. Since, however, Bro. V.T. Houteff shut the door to the prophetic office of prophets and said that he (Elijah) was the last prophet, then it is certain that Christ will come soon, in spite of the false prophets that has arisen among the Davidians.Furthermore, it was not the prophetess of the Seventh-day Adventist church (Sis. E.G. White) who shut the prophetic door, because the Lord inspired her to predict in her writings that Elijah the prophet was to come to their church (T.M. 475:3). And when that Elijah (Bro. V.T. Houteff) appeared in 1929, he was the only true prophet in the entire Bible that ever said he was the last prophet (G.C.S. 23,24). Even Malachi, the last prophet in the Old Testament Jewish era, said Elijah the prophet was yet to come (Mal. 4:5). Those Davidians, however, who deny that Elijah (Bro. V.T. Houteff) is the last prophet and exalt themselves as prophets, are saying that Christ is not to come soon, because they are falsely claiming to have opened the door (which Elijah shut) for prophets to come. And the devil, the one who raised up these usurpers, is not going to tell them to shut the door so that Jesus can never come again. In fact, Satan would raise up false prophets for eternity, if that would keep Jesus from coming again. [If you want to know about the Davidian false prophets, click on that study at the end.] Thus, it is certain that these Davidian usurpers cannot bring harmony out of their disunity by calling for a summit and pretend that they are united. Their cry, therefore, for a summit is two-fold: (1) It is a snare of the devil to entice true Davidians into their "bundle" of "tares"! (2) And it is a snare of the devil to entice the true Davidians to link up with those who reject truth and foster errors, to make their unification appear as if the true Davidians have accepted the usurpers. And that is why the true Davidians would never approve of any call for a summit (much less attend it out of curiosity) to unite themselves into disunity with the "bundles" of Davidian "tares"! Here are some of the reasons why they will not unite with these perpetually disunified and divided Davidians:
[skipped down page to other paragraphs]"All {Davidians and Seventh-day Adventists} that are found members of the church up to the fulfillment of {the slaughter of} Ezekiel Nine will either receive the seal and be a part of or with the 144,000, or else be left without the seal and fall {die} under the 'slaughter weapons' of the 'five angels'."--2 Symbolic Code, No. 5, pg. 8:1 (bold emphasis, braces added).
[skipped down page to other paragraphs] ONLY ONE WAY TO HAVE A UNITED FRONT According to Ezekiel, the only way for Davidians to have a "united front" is for all Davidians to "sigh and cry" against the "abominations" (errors of the rebels), and accept all that the SRod teaches, including that which the rebels have rejected: (1) Accept Elijah (Bro. V.T. Houteff) as the last prophet (G.C.S. 31,32). (2) Accept the feast laws being nailed to the cross (2 T.G. 37:15). (3) Accept the "Carmel" pasture until probation closes (11 S.C. 12:32). (4) Accept the moving of God's Headquarters "eastward" (2 S.R. 197). (5) Accept the living Davidian saved "with" the 144,000. (6) Accept all other truths which the rebels have rejected. If these truths are accepted by all the Davidians, then there would only be one Association with one Headquarters, and they would not be divided into "bundles" of "tares." Neither would there be a need for anyone calling for a summit to unite them together, when they are already united. The rebels, however, will never recant their errors, because Jesus said that there would be Davidian "bundles" during the "time of harvest" (Mt. 13:30), when the "reapers...the angels" (Mt. 13:39) will "burn" (Mt. 13:30) them! It is obvious, therefore, that the only way for the Davidian "bundles" to really have a "united front," is not to unite with each others errors, but to accept all that the SRod message teaches, and stop sinning against the Holy Ghost!
Fine this point of view interesting. vvv

CONGRATULATIONS TO DIVORCED DAVIDIANSCONGRATULATIONS TO THE DIVORCED DAVIDIANS
We are very happy for the new Davidians who have accepted the truth of The Shepherd's Rod, which is a message of revival and reformation. And that means you have decided to sigh and cry against the abominations in God's church; and to "touch not the unclean thing" (2 Cor. 6:17). Therefore, it is with great anticipation that we look forward to your divorce in the near future. We know that some of you have already filed for divorce, while some other Davidians are still thinking about it; and we hope that they, too, will file for divorce as well. We are sure that those who have filed for divorce already, will rejoice for those who have been hesitating, but have finally decided to file for divorce. Remember, we at Headquarters are very anxious to know when your divorce will become final. However, though our anxieties will be greatly relieved, when we learn that you have been finally freed by divorce; yet, we are more concerned about your remarriage than anything else. We know that your present marriage has been very hard, especially when you are unequally yoked. And knowing that a divorce is a very painful process, we can understand why some Davidians are hesitant about filing for divorce. As for those of us Davidians who have already been divorced and remarried, we can assure you that it is well worth it. We know from experience that you will be very happy with your new marriage partner. Please don't forget to send us a wedding announcement so that we might be prepared for your wedding day. You have already received a very valuable and expensive wedding gift from the Lord, which is the message of The Shepherd's Rod literature; and they will teach you how to have a happy and loving marriage in your new home (the kingdom of God in the Holy Land). It is important that you make sure that you love your new marriage Partner with all your heart.
>> A statement is quoted below from one of your valuable wedding gift booklets, which will engender more love for Him, as you will find yourself completely wrapped in His "love".YOUR NEW HUSBAND'S LOVE"The Shepherd's Rod, the books that Inspiration so named and inspired its contents, being the only Rod in the world that can be heard speaking, the Lord commands that you should hear it, that you do not waste any time in deciding between the Rod literature and some other.
>>For there is none other today than the Rod literature which God recommends you to hear. And when you hear the Rod, you will find yourself wrapped in the love of Christ and in the 'arms' of God. Try it."--2 Timely Greetings, No. 34, pgs. 28,29 (bold emphasis, braces added).
You should know that you are being courted by One whom you address as your Lord, and who is seeking an engagement with you for your hand in marriage. But if you should decide to end your present marriage by divorce (and we hope you will), then we will rejoice with you over your new husband.
CALL HIM YOUR NEW HUSBAND, NOT A LORD"And it shall be at that day, saith the Lord, that thou shalt call me Ishi {husband}; and shalt call me no more Baali {Lord}."--Hosea 2:16 (bold emphasis, braces added).
"She {faithful Davidians} shall then no longer call Him 'my Lord,' but rather 'my Husband' (margin). The relationship of a husband being closer than that of a lord, it denotes an elevation to a more intimate connection and walk with God."--4 Tract, pg. 38:3 (bold emphasis, braces added).
"Yes, rather than be her lord, God is indeed to be her husband, for one {Davidians} can have lords many, but only one husband."--2 Timely Greetings, No. 21, pg. 13:2 (bold emphasis, braces added).
YOU MUST KEEP YOUR VOWS We trust that you realize the sacredness of the vows you will recite on your wedding day; and that you will always be true to your vows. For if you do not intend to keep your vows every day, then you would become an unfaithful wife. And then you will not be allowed to "pass through" His house (church) always. Instead, you will be slain by the slaughtering angels of Ezekiel 9. "'O Judah, keep thy solemn feasts [the truth of the sanctuary], perform thy vows: for the wicked shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.' Nah. 1:15."--4 Tract, pg. 61:2 (bold emphasis, braces added).
And what are your wifely vows? You must honor and obey all His commandments at all times (especially the one to "hear ye the Rod"); which means--"wives submit yourselves to your husbands" (Eph. 5:22). Furthermore, you must "love" Him "with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind" (Matt. 22:37).
Moreover, we want you to know that He will be a very jealous husband, who will not allow you to give your affections to anyone else or anything else, but to Himself. He will not tolerate adultery on your part in the least. He will not sanction your desire to see your former husband again, or have anything to do with his ways, which is idolatry, because you will be married to your new husband for eternity. "'I the Lord thy God am a jealous God.' The close and sacred relation of God to his people is represented under the figure of marriage. Idolatry being spiritual adultery, the displeasure of God against it is fitly called jealousy."--Patriarchs and Prophets. pg. 306:2 (bold emphasis, braces added).

PROVE YOURSELF A WORTHY WIFE BY WORKING IN HIS VINEYARD First though, before your engagement can be finalized by marriage, you must prove yourself worthy to be His wife. You must obey His command to go into His vineyard and work now, contrary to your present husband's command to stay in the wilderness. For if you cannot obey him now--"wives submit yourselves to your husbands" (Eph. 5:22)--during your engagement, neither will you obey Him after the marriage. Your worthiness can only be proved by divorcing your present husband (desires of the flesh) and his worldly interests. "Therefore, while yet engaged in your present occupation, go ye {Davidians} into the vineyard of the Lord {today}, and as your interest there grows, let your private interests be diminishing until you find yourselves completely divorced from them and wedded to the Lord's."--4 Tract, pg. 47:2 (bold emphasis, braces added).

DIVORCE AND REMARRY TODAY What about you, Brother, Sister, Davidian? Have you "completely divorced" yourselves from the interests of your present husband (carnal heart) and ways of the world (wilderness)? or are you loathe to cut loose from his unprofitable fruits? Will you look back upon them as did Lot's wife? Or are your interests and labors in the fruitful vineyard of the Lord growing each day, causing you to file for divorce, freeing yourself from your private interests, so you can be "wedded" to your new husband's interests? If you have not done so, we pray earnestly that today, you will accept His call to go work in His vineyard (Mt. 20:6,7) at the church you attend where ever you are. Then you will without a moments hesitation divorce yourself from your unprofitable labors in your present husband's "wilderness," and become "wedded" to the work in the Lord's vineyard.
We will be very happy for you, after you have recited your vows and become a new wife (sealed as one "of" or one "with" the 144,000); because your new husband will take you on a honeymoon to Mt. Zion to stand with Him there as kings and queens of His kingdom (household). And to show His great love for you He will give you many gifts--a new heart and clean water to cleanse you of your sins, and make you a perfect wife (Ezek. 35:25,26); and He will give you all the wealth of the Gentiles (Isa. 60.5) to make you very rich.
Then, as you follow Him "withersoever He goeth" (Rev. 14:4), He will send you on a tour of the whole world to gather for Him a great multitude (Rev. 7:9) of people to come into His household (kingdom), to live with Him forever. He will also give you the power to speak "all languages of the nations" (Zech. 8:23), and He will give you dreams and visions (Joel 2:28) so that you can continue to work in His vineyard. But, you must be willing to give up working in the unfruitful "wilderness" of the world by divorce, and become "wedded" to the work of the Lord's vineyard today, as noted in Matt. 20:6,7:
ELEVENTH-HOUR DAVIDIANS "And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others {Seventh-day Adventists} standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle? They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard {as Davidians}; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive {the kingdom}."--Matthew 20:6,7 (bold emphasis, braces added).
"The message in this volume {2 Shepherd's Rod} was prophetically timed by the parable of the 'Householder' who sent laborers {Davidians} into His 'vineyard.' (Matt. 20:1-16.) Proving to be the '11th hour' 'call,'--the last, and at the right time."--2 Shepherd's Rod book, pg. 9:3 (bold emphasis, braces added).
"Now that the time has finally come for the Lord to recruit His eleventh-hour servants {a call for Davidians to work in His vineyard today}, this priceless parable {Mt. 20:1-7} is unfolded, and for the first time it is plainly seen that whereas the judgment of the dead was to be proclaimed to many nations {Rev. 10:11} and people, the judgment of the living is to be proclaimed to all nations {Mt. 28:19} and to every people on earth."--White House Recruiter, pg. 23:1 (bold emphasis, braces added). Today, you not only have the great privilege of having a part in the work of the vineyard now, but also to have an even greater privilege during the loud cry, to be one "of" or one "with" the 144,000 who are the "eleventh-hour servants, the Davidians" (2 T.G. 43:12:1).
What about you, Brother, Sister, Davidian? Have you already filed for divorce? Are you planning on getting married to work for the Lord in His vineyard today? Or have you just recently been divorced and remarried? If so, we extend to you our most heart-felt CONGRATULATIONS! END OF STUDY 41
